3D Materialization

Euthopia will offer the possibility to materialize 3D NFT objects created by our users and artists. Through our various 3D printing methods, users will be able to purchase NFT items and receive their certified physical 3D counterpart, created using the original NFT token linked to the 3D file.

3D Printing

At Euthopia, sustainability and environmental care are top priorities. For this reason, all our 3D printing practices are eco-friendly and use recycled or biodegradable materials, including:

  • PLA Plastic (Polylactic Acid): Widely used in 3D printing, PLA is biodegradable and bio-compatible. It’s commonly used to create prototypes, models, and consumer products.

  • Biodegradable Materials: Variants such as PLA+, PGA (Polyglycolic Acid), and others improve mechanical properties while remaining eco-friendly and naturally decomposable over time.

  • Cellulose-Based Materials: Derived from sustainable sources like wood or agricultural waste, these materials offer a green option for creating environmentally conscious products.

  • Biopolymers: Made from biological sources such as corn starch, chitosan, or PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoate), biopolymers are suitable for medical and environmental 3D printing applications.

  • Algae-Based Materials: Research is ongoing in the use of algae—renewable and nutrient-rich—for creating biodegradable and sustainable printing materials.

  • Mushroom-Based Materials: Mycelium, the root structure of fungi, is gaining popularity as a biodegradable and durable option for producing eco-friendly and compostable goods.

  • Latex-Based Materials: Natural latex, extracted from rubber trees, is biodegradable and can be used to produce flexible and resilient 3D-printed objects.

  • Bacterial Cellulose-Based Materials: Produced by bacteria like Acetobacter xylinum, bacterial cellulose is both bio-compatible and biodegradable, offering strength and sustainability.

These are just some of the bio-compatible materials available for 3D printing. Ongoing research and innovation continue to expand the possibilities for sustainable and environmentally conscious applications in the 3D printing field.
