The Redevelopment Plan involves the revitalization of an abandoned rural area in the Municipality of Pontedera, with the goal of creating an intergenerational community for sustainable co-housing.
Main points of the project:
Location: The area is located in Via delle Maremme, near the village of Castel Del Bosco, in the province of Pisa, Tuscany, Italy.
Surface area: The plan covers approximately 20,600 square meters.
Existing buildings: The site includes three former rural buildings in a state of disrepair (Buildings A, B, and C).
Planned interventions:
Partial demolition and reconstruction of the existing buildings
Construction of five new residential buildings
Construction of a multi-purpose building for communal use
Creation of shared spaces and services (kitchen, library, laundry, etc.)
Preservation of historical elements as a tribute to the site's memory

Gross Usable Floor Area (GFA): 1,176 sqm
Maximum number of housing units: 11
Maximum building height: 2 floors above ground
